Recipe for Coziness

Every now and then it's okay to take a "cozy day." Sometimes we just need to refuel and clear our minds. In order to reap the full benefits, you must commit to doing nothing, staying in comfy clothes, eating comfort food, indulging in bad TV dramas, and spending ample amounts of time cuddling on the couch. It is especially beneficial after a long week, like the one we have had preparing for a dinner party at our house last night.

There are a few things that contribute to the cozy factor.

Stormy weather.

Our TV series of choice today: Friday Night Lights.

Cuddly baby.

Leftover food from said party.

We can always find something that needs to be cleaned, some errand that needs to be ran, or some list that needs to be checked off, but if we do not take the time to relax and enjoy the sweetness of life and family, then that spotless house, money spent, and tasks accomplished will have lost their meaning.
