"There is money in the banana stand."

Last week we woke up at the sea.

Thanks to the generosity of others, we were able to getaway on a vacation to Newport Beach, California. We soaked up every minute of our last vacation as a family of 2...although we do foresee more vacations as a couple with a little send off to camp Grosse or camp Kimmel...but for now it is our last before baby.



We had a blast exploring Southern California, taking long (and exhausting on a pregnant woman's bad back) walks on the beach, eating seafood at fancy restaurants and making crepes in the morning, defeating mind-boggling crossword puzzles, hunting down Arrested Development's Frozen Banana Stand, relaxing to my first prenatal massage (what should just be called and hour long rub,) and just having fun spending every minute of an uninterrupted week together.


And because who's not interested to see what an almost 6 month pregnant woman looks like in a bathing suite....

here I am at 23 weeks with my baby boy


Try to contain your excitement, but Cody and I might have been working on a little film of our vacay. Once we get it edited (and sent to the Academy for review) I will post it. Stay tuned...
