Big Changes

I've sat down several times over the last 6 months to try to put into words the journey that these last 4 years in seminary has been. I'm still not there. I need a little more time to fully reflect and heal from  these years of struggle and blessings.

God led us on quite the chase to figure out what was next for our family. He stirred up big things in our hearts. Some of those big things, I believe, are calls that will eventually be answered. Things that we still need to be prepared for, to rest up, and continue to listen for. For now, we are thrilled with the gift he is offering us.

Cody has taken a job at a great church in Scottsdale, Arizona. I'm excited to see his music and heart for worship continue to influence and serve the church. We will be surrounded by Cody's entire family, and for that we are ecstatic.

Along with all the excitement we have for this change we are also very much grieving the life we are leaving behind. Though we have not had family in town these last 4 years, our church, friends, and community have gone above and beyond to fill that gap for us. I cannot even begin to list the ways friends here have loved us and served us. The people here have taught Cody and me so much about ministry, relationships, and true service. I'm so sad to leave them but so thankful for the invaluable opportunity we've had to live life with them.
